Season Opener

The Cowgirls tipoff the season tonight at 6pm at Alameda H.S.! After the loss of eight players off of last years varsity team, the Cowgirls look to start strong this year. The Cowgirls will be paced this season by three year letter winners Toni Grant and Angie Ocon with help from newcomers Sam Williams and Yesina Huerta who made varsity as Freshmen. Coach V is also looking to get some quality minutes from first year varsity player Abby Pino and junior YaYa Parra, YaYa played varsity as a Freshmen and was hurt by injuries last season. All in all the new look Cowgirls should be an upgrade from last years team and should see some wins early.
