WIAA Regionals A Big Success

By wfrunning Behnke of Weyauwega-Fremont High SchoolInto the Lions Den of Division 2 track & field once again, the Wega-Fremont Track Team started its yellow brick road journey toward the State Track on Monday in fine fashion.
The second smallest school in the 9 school Little Chute Regional, the Indians are traveling to Thursday's Freedom Sectional with 16 athletes and/or relays taking the big first step towards the WIAA State Champions in LaCrosse.
1st year Head Coach Nick Winn was also successful in continuing the Sectional Streak. Under Coach Winn & former Head Coach Arnie Behnke, the Wega-Fremont Track Team has now advancedathletes to the WIAA Division 2 Sectionals every year since 1985. That is one fantastic streak for the Indians.
