DOVER — Western Boone scored the first 10 points of the game and never looked back in a 76-52 Sagamore Conference boys basketball game Friday.

The Stars got 20-plus points from two players and double figures from another as they move to 4-2 on the season and 2-1 in the conference.

The Stars host Fountain Central tonight.

Girls Game

Southmont overcame a 17-point second half deficit, and came within a bucket of knocking off Western Boone, before falling 56-54 in girls Sagamore Conference action.
