Base: Stars edge Southmont in conference play

Western Boone built an early lead and survived a three run sixth inning from Southmont to beat the Mounties 5-4 April 26. Tyler Squibb threw a complete game for the Stars. He allowed four runs on six hits but struck out a whopping 13 Southmont batters. Levi Remley had a perfect day at the plate for Western Boone. He went 3 for 3 on the day.
