WEBO announces new Head Football Coach

Western Boone Jr Sr High SchIt did not take long for Western Boone High School to find its new head football coach. After conducting a search that lasted roughly a month, WEBO found its man, Justin Pelley. It's the first head coaching job for the 32-year-old Pelley, who has spent the last seven seasons at Brownsburg High School as the offensive coordinator. He has been an integral part of the recent success which includes back-to-back HCC championships and a sectional championship in the past four seasons. Pelley graduated from Speedway where he played for his father, Denny Pelley, the 3rd winningest active coach in the state of Indiana. Pelley went on to play quarterback and captained the team at Hanover College, the place he started his coaching career as a graduate assistant in 2003. After his stint coaching at the college level, he became the passing game coordinator at Mooresville High School for the 2005 season. After one season Coach Brett Comer came calling with the offer to be his OC at Brownsburg.
Western Boone Football is coming off back-to-back 9-2 seasons, a Sagamore Conference Championship and will have 9 returning starters on defense and 7 on offense. Pelley will teach English and also has his Master's degree in counseling. He resides in Danville with his wife, Jenni and his two daughters, Rylee and Ashton.
