A 1-2-3 finish in the 300 meter hurdles highlighted the River Rats' home loss. Crossing the finish line in the event were Anna Masini (49.07 seconds), Cindy Ofili (:50.02) and Malica Yalamanchili (:51.09). "We had some pretty impressive performances," said Huron coach Keri Kirk. Ofili went on to add first-place finishes in the 100 dash (:12.05) and 100 hurdles (:16.02). Karyn Rapundalo and Maya Long added firsts in the two-mile run (12:09.09) and 400 dash (1:00.06), respectively. Huron was competing without three of its top scorers due to injury. (Results from Mlive)
