Welcome back Peer Mediators! We begin 2nd semester training on Friday, January 23rd. We will meet 2nd period in Room 150. This is a mandatory meeting! Speak to one of the sponsors ahead of time if you are unable to be there. Make sure you are checking in with Ms. Kaffo in the main office on a regular basis to see if any mediations need to be scheduled. Thank you. In order to take full advantage of any financial aid for college or career school that you might qualify for you must complete your FAFSA now. Please go to www.FAFSA.gov and use your 2013 tax information until you and your parents complete your 2014 tax forms. Assistance is available every Tuesday through the counseling department during the lunch periods but you must b ring you and your parents identification and financial information with you. Please see your counselor for more information.
Check out a copy of The Prisoner of Tehran today and join us for a Breakfast Book Club on January 27th at 7:15 am in the LRC.
AACA will host its sixth annual Staff vs. Student Basketball Game on Tuesday, February 17th at 3:45pm in the auxiliary gym. There will be a registration drop box available today through Monday, February 2nd located outside the ISS room, room 150 for any student interested in playing on the student team. Admission to the game will be $1.00.
Congratulations to the Eisenhower Express Showchoir on their 1st runner-up placement this past Saturday at the 2015 Chocolate City Showcase competition in Burlington, Wisconsin. The showchoir also took home two additional awards for the best male performer in a show and the best choreography of all 14 schools from the Midwest that participated that day. They will be competing again this Saturday, January 24th at another competition in Crete-Monee, Illinois.
Congratulations to the Cardinal Speech Team who competed at the Willowbrook Winter Tournament on Saturday.
