Dress-up days for Courtwarming are: Monday - Crazy Day Tuesday – Stereotype Day (Seniors – Nerds; Juniors – Jocks; Sophomores – Cowboys/Cowgirls; Freshman – Rock Stars; 8th grade – Hillbillies; 7th grade – Hobos) Wednesday – Business Suit Day Thursday – Dress as your favorite character from any game Friday – Black & Gold Day King and Queen - Bryce Ross and Shelby Goacher Tiger Homecoming
2012 FOOTBALL HOMECOMING PLANS
September 21st , 2012, marks the day for Worth County Tiger Football Homecoming celebration. “Tiger Victory: Music to our Ears” has been chosen by the Student Council as this year’s theme. Scheduled activities on September 21st include a pep rally at 8:15, a parade which will originate in front of the school at 2:15 and arrive on the square for coronation activities at approximately 2:30. The Student Council is extending an invitation to Worth County organizations or groups encouraging them to sponsor an entry in the parade and to decorate business windows. Information regarding parade order may be obtained by contacting Amy Garrett, 564-2218. A short pep assembly as well as announcements regarding class and float competitions will precede the coronation activities.
The pre-game show on Friday is slated to begin at 6:35 p.m. on the Frank B. Matteson Memorial Field, with the introduction of the queen and her court escorted by their fathers at 6:35. At 6:50 will be the introduction of teams followed by the playing of the National Anthem by the Worth County Marching Tigers. Opening kickoff between the Worth County Fighting Tigers and the West Nodaway Rockets is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Halftime activities will be conducted.
A Homecoming fun night including a dance, sponsored by the student council, will conclude the day’s activities at 11:00. All students, grades 9-12 from Worth County and NEN are invited to attend. Charge will be $3.00 per person; $5.00 per couple.

A special recognition this year goes to the 1995 football team. They will have a float in the parade and be recognized at the game. We also have the 1987 Homecoming Queen (Stephanie Farrell) and the 1962 Homecoming Queen (Judy Scott Heiffus) in the parade.
We, here at the school, encourage our patrons to take an active role in this year’s Homecoming celebration. All positive means of support for our school’s celebration will be appreciated.
