Chase Burton passed for 312 yard and tossed two TDs and ran for another score as host Corydon got past Perry Central 45-36 on Friday night in high school football.

Alex McAfee ran for 92 yards and three TDs for the Panthers (1-0).

• Brownstown 39, Mitchell 6: Jay Wehmiller scored three touchdowns, two rushing and one on a 49-yard interception return, to lead the visiting Braves (1-0) over the Bluejackets (0-1). Dylan Patman led Brownstown in rushing, finishing with a touchdown and 48 yards on six carries.

• West Washington 42, Eastern Pekin 7: Cody Maudlin hit Chad Thompson with three TD passes and Tyler Dunn added two more scores as the host Senators (1-0) beat the Muskateers (0-1) in their Washington County rivalry.

• Bloomington South 34, Bedford North Lawrence 20: Eli Eads led the visiting Panthers (1-0) over the Stars (0-1) with 134 yards rushing and a touchdown on 16 carries. Bedford North Lawrence’s Jesse Millikan threw for 188 yards and a touchdown on 19-of-27 passing.
