The Generals (15-1), ranked No. 6 in Class 2-A, jumped to an 18-7 first-quarter lead and never trailed. “It’s always nice to come back and win after you lose,” said Clarksville coach Jason Connell, whose team suffered its first loss of the season Friday against Brownstown. “Tournament time is coming, so a Wednesday game helps prepare you for that. We’re focused on our final two (Mid-Southern) conference games and sectional play.” Trinity Lutheran was led by Jacob Newkirk’s 10 points.
