Smith scored 19 points and hit four 3-pointers in the first quarter. Josh Vires scored 31 points, including six 3-pointers, for the Eagles (3-6, 2-2 Mid-Southern Conference). Collin Book added 19 points for the Cougars (6-2, 2-2). • Floyd Central 59, Corydon 41: Nick Bomersbach’s 13 points paced the host Highlanders (6-6) in their win over the Panthers (4-5). Quinton Miller and Jordan Thompson each added 12 points for Floyd Central. Tyler Ross scored 13 for Corydon. • Brownstown 60, West Washington 43: Jalen Snodgrass’ 28 points included seven 3-pointers as the visiting Braves (10-0) blew past the Senators (4-5). Clayton Sullivan paced West Washington with 17. • Salem 79, Orleans 54: Senior twins Ian and Zach Bowling combined for 44 points as the visiting Lions (5-3) won their second straight. Ian had 26 points, Zach 18 and Jalen Brown 19 for Salem. Lucas McCullough had 16 points and Trey Bradley 15 for the Bulldogs (6-4), who lost their third straight. • Silver Creek 68, Eastern Pekin 35: Grant Meyer and Jacob Brooks each scored 17 to lead the visiting Dragons (6-5) past the Musketeers (2-7). Austin Brown’s 13 points paced Eastern Pekin. • Crawford County 60, Springs Valley 46: Eric Harned put in 18 points and Johnny Schwartz 17 as the Wolfpack (10-0, 2-0 Patoka Lake Athletic) knocked off the host Blackhawks (3-7, 0-3). Crawford County jumped to a 16-0 lead in the first period. Sebastian Baggett led Springs Valley with 18. • Borden 67, New Washington 45: Jalen McCoy knocked down eight 3-point shots on his way to 27 points to propel the visiting Braves (9-0) past the Mustangs (0-11). Michael Lynch also added 10 points for the winners. • Christian Academy-Louisville 46, Christian Academy-Indiana 33: Sawyer Hobbs’ 12 points paced the host Centurions (6-8). Aaron Hayes scored 20 for the Warriors (6-5). • South Central 65, Lanesville 50: Bobby Sampson scored 19, Kyle Pease 17 and Jason Boston 15 as the host Rebels (2-9, 1-1 Southern Athletic) got past the Eagles (4-6, 1-2). Lanesville was led by Caleb Caldwell and Jack Ferree with 17 points each. • Paoli 57, Mitchell 46: Tanner Wroblewski had 13 points and 11 rebounds to power the host Rams (6-1) past the Bluejackets (0-10). Colton Phelps added 11 for winners. Luke Wykoff scored 24 points for Mitchell. Girls• Christian Academy-Louisville 60, Christian Academy-Indiana 44: China Dow’s 18 points and nine rebounds helped the Lady Centurions (12-6) down the visiting Lady Warriors (6-7). Brittany Mumford added 11 points for Christian Academy-Louisville. Stephanie Combs scored 30 and made 15 of 19 free throws for Christian Academy-Indiana.
