MENDON, Ill. — The West Hancock Titans held off the Unity Mustangs 64-61 in a West Central Conference South Division boys basketball game Tuesday.
West Hancock outscored Unity 20-12 in the third quarter to take a 54-42 lead.
Paxton Harmon scored 37 points to pace West Hancock. He had 10 points in the each of the first quarters, nine in the third quarter and eight in the fourth quarter. Harmon made six of the Titans’ 11 three-pointers in the game.
Austin Hardy added 14 points for West Hancock. Parker Gibbs had seven points. Trevor Knipe tossed in six points. Ben Sinele netted three points, and Drew Beeler finished with two points.
Alex Blickhan had 23 points to pace Unity. Andrew Doyle added 15 points, and Will Klusmeyer finished with 10 points.
West Hancock hosts Payson Saturday at Hamilton High School.
