MENDON, Ill. — The West Hancock Titans led by 31 points at halftime and cruised to a 79-37 win over Brown County at the Unity Tournament Tuesday.
West Hancock outscored the Lady Hornets 37-16 in the second quarter for a 53-22 halftime lead.
Shelby Koehler scored 27 points to lead the Titans. She scored 25 of her 27 points in the first half, including 16 in the second quarter.
Carly Runge had 12 points for the Titans. Allison Dewald added 10 points. Haleigh Hammel netted eight points. Keaghan Shacklett tossed in seven points. Taylor Kropp scored five points. Madison Harmon tallied four points, and Aleetha Mulch and Alexis Dooley each finished with three points.
Vanessa Market scored 18 points to lead Brown County, 1-4 on the season. Cheyenne Grainger had five points.
West Hancock, 3-3 on the season, finishes play in the tournament Saturday against a yet to be determined opponent.
Brown County takes on Central-Southeastern today in the final game of pool play in the tournament
