Kalie Douberly Signs With Georgia Southwestern

Kalie Douberly has signed a scholarship to play tennis for Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, Ga.  GSW is a member of the Peach Belt Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.  Kalie is the daughter of Robert and Pam Douberly. 

Kalie has participated in cross-country, softball, and tennis during her athletic career. She was 21-0 this tennis season, she has helped lead her tennis team to the region championship and 11^th straight state tournament appearance.   Kalie has earned all-region tennis and Most Outstanding Tennis player for all four years of her career.  

Head Coach Brennan Sewell of Georgia Southwestern commented:

"This 2010-2011 recruiting class for GSW women's tennis is the best of the last 10 years and one of the main reasons is Kalie Douberly.  She will be an impact player as a freshman, starting in the top 3 in singles & top 2 in doubles."

 "Her level of play was so impressive that I made her signing my top priority. So, obviously I'm extremely delighted that she has become a member of our 2010-2011 Lady Canes team."
