Lady Eagles beat Miller Co. in Region Tournament

The Ware Magnet Lady Eagles defeated Miller Co. 5-0 in the first round of the Region 1A Tennis Tournament at Waycross College on Tuesday. Ware Magnet's record improves to 13-3 overall and currently ranked no. 5 in the Class A Coaches Poll. 

With the victory, the Lady Eagles clinched a spot in the state tournament for the 11th straight year and gave Coach Robert Douberly his 300th career tennis win at Ware Magnet.  The Lady Eagles will travel to Tifton on Friday for the semi-finals and finals at the ABAC Tennis Courts.  Ware Magnet will face Irwin Co. in the semi-finals.
