Lady Warriors Volleyball: Senior Night, WA vs MHS, 10/13/11

The Varsity Lady Warriors Volleyball Team hosted the Lady Panthers from Morehead High School this evening in this season's last home match. WA's five seniors - Kelsey Akers, Rebekah Bunn, Kendall McKinney, Michelle Schram, and Selen Yalin - were honored (along with their parents) prior to the start of the game.

The Lady Warriors started off very strong, winning the opening set - however the Lady Panthers fought back and took the next 3 sets to win the match.

The Varsity Lady Warriors finish out the regular season at 6-12 overall and 4-10 in the Mid-State 3A Conference. The Lady Warriors begin conference tournament play on Monday, 10/17 as the number 6th seed (opponent TBD).
