Warriors rally to upend Williams in boys' soccer

Western Alamance scored a pair of goals in the final 12 minutes to give the visiting Warriors a come-from-behind victory 2-1 against Williams High School on Wednesday night at Burlington Memorial Stadium in a matchup between Mid-State 3-A Conference teams that will not count in the league standings.
Western Alamance rallied in the second half with goals from Ryan Brooks (68th minute) and Junior Hernandez (74th minute).
Taariq Songster scored for the Bulldogs in the sixth minute as Williams held a 1-0 halftime lead.
Tyler Billings had nine saves for the Warriors (3-0) and Luke Haverstrom stopped 11 shots for the Bulldogs (1-2-1).
