WA - 57

Morehead - 57

With just 8 ticks left on the clock, Kianna Davis put back a missed shot and gave WA its first lead of the contest.  That would be enough as the Lady Warriors held on to claim a dramatic comeback victory over the Lady Panthers of Morehead High School.

Davis scored 17 2nd half points to lead the comeback.  Davis had 21 points in total.

Down 16 at the end of the 1st quarter (and by the same margin at halftime), WA seized momentum in the 2nd half and chipped away at the lead.  By the time Q4 started, the 16 point margin had been whittled to just 6 points.  As the time remaining shrunk, so did the Morehead lead.  And, dramatically, came the put back!

Hailey Stout proved up to her name with "stout" performance; a double-double consisting of 14 points and 15 rebs.   Cala Bailey also reached double figures with 12 points.
