Men's Swimming beat Morehead , Women post strong results

      For the first time in school history, the men's swimming team beat Eden Morehead, 77-62.  They were paced with a strong performance by Matt Foster as he won the both the 50 and 100 freestyle.  Curtis Hudson won the 100 backstroke and Blake Holsclaw won the 200 individual medley.  Foster, Holsclaw and Hudson were joined by Tyler Smiley to form the winning 200 Medley Relay.  Other notable individual finishes were 2nd place finishes by: Hudson-200 free, Tyler Smiley- 500 free, Holsclaw-100 breast and 3rd place finishes by: Tyler Smiley-200 free, Eli Thompson- 500 free, Stanton Wiggins- 100 back, and Jacob Thomspon- 100 breast.  Wiggins, Matt Miller, Archie Harris and Tyler Melton swam to a second place finish in the 200 free relay and Hudson, Harris , Smiley and Foster swam to a secon place finish in the 400 free relay.

      The Women's swim team fell to Morehead 103-64 but posted strong individual perfomances.  Alex Wall won both the 200 free and the 500 free.  Lindsay Richardson won the 100 breaststroke.  Richardson and Wall jointed Courtney Joyce and Becca Gazda to win the Medley Relay.  Other notable individual finishes by the Warriors included the 2nd place finishes by Genna Frodyma- 200 indivual medley, Becca Gazda- 50 free, Courtney Joyce- 100 fly and 3rd place finishes by Richardson- 200 individual medley, Frodyma- 100 fly, and Gazda- 100 free.  Joyce, Richarson, Wall and Gazda swam to a second place finish in the 200 free relay.
