Congratulations to Warror offensive linemen Michael Bell, Charlie Harper, and Josh Pitts.  The trio of seniors signed their LOI's recently to play collegiately at Wingate!

And the congratulations don't stop with the players.  This goes well beyond the jerseys of #66 (Bell), #68 (Harper), and #75 (Pitts).  This is a feel-good moment for the entire Warrior Nation with special acknowledgement extended the WA coaching staff; parents; families; friends; and teammates of the Wingate Trio.

It is a proud, proud day for us all to have 3 young men be so fortunate (and to have worked so hard and earned) the privilege of playing college football.

A room full of well-wishers attended a "Signing Day Ceremony" this afternoon in the WA field house.  The festivities included a table full of food (thanks Football Moms) and members of the the local media.  As Coach Snuffer pointed out...  Its probably a 'first' for WA to have 3 offensive linemen sign to play college football; much less for the same team!

Josh/Michael/Charlie - Thank you for all that you have done for WA football and for the Warrior Nation.  We are extremely proud of you; not just for your accomplishments on the field, but for the fine young men you have become.  We wish you all the best and look forward to following your college careers.

Now just remember 2 things:

  1. Academics comes before football
  2. While at Wingate, whenever you say "Go Bulldogs," you have to cross your fingers!  :)
