Warrior’s Soccer Match Set for 2:00 Saturday (Playoffs – Round 2)

Western Alamance’s 2^nd round playoff game with Southern Lee is set for this Saturday at 2:00 pm on the Cavalier’s Pitch in Sanford.  Google maps estimates the travel time to be about an hour and 15 minutes from Elon.  On Wednesday, the Warriors defeated Western Harnett 4 – 0 to advance to the 2^nd round of the NC High School Athletic Association 3A soccer playoffs while 13^th ranked Southern Lee beat the Asheboro Blue Comets by the same score of 4 – 0.  The Cavaliers, who are coached by Jason Burman and are currently riding a 14 game win streak, were the Cape Fear Valley Conference champs with a record of 16 – 2 – 2.   Please come out and support the boys this Saturday in Sanford.
