Boys Soccer: Warriors Spread The Wealth In 9-0 Shutout Over Wildcats

Western defeats Eastern Guilford 9 – 0           

 

At Elon, Western Alamance scored early and often to take another Mid-State 3A conference tilt against the Eastern Guilford Wildcats by a score of 9 – 0.  Seven different players scored a goal for the Warriors who improved their record to 8 – 3 in conference play and 11 – 3 – 3 overall. 


Joshua Podolle started the scoring onslaught with a goal early in the first half.  His goal was followed by 1st half scores from Daniel Boulware, Jordan Stovall, Jacob Saconn and Luis Guerrero.  In the second half, Justin Henshaw, Clay Winters, Boulware and Stovall all netted a goal for the Warriors to finish the scoring at  9 – 0.

 

Western’s last home game is tonight against the Eastern Alamance Eagles.  This Conference match-up is also Senior night for 10 Western Alamance Warriors.
