Boys Soccer: Warriors Spread The Wealth In 9-0 Shutout Over Wildcats

Western defeats Eastern Guilford 9 – 0           

At Elon, Western Alamance scored early and often to take another Mid-State 3A conference tilt against the Eastern Guilford Wildcats by a score of 9 – 0.  Seven different players scored a goal for the Warriors who improved their record to 8 – 3 in conference play and 11 – 3 – 3 overall. 

Joshua Podolle started the scoring onslaught with a goal early in the first half.  His goal was followed by 1^st half scores from Daniel Boulware, Jordan Stovall, Jacob Saconn and Luis Guerrero.  In the second half, Justin Henshaw, Clay Winters, Boulware and Stovall all netted a goal for the Warriors to finish the scoring at  9 – 0.

Western’s last home game is tonight against the Eastern Alamance Eagles.  This Conference match-up is also Senior night for 10 Western Alamance Warriors.
