At Gibsonville, Western Alamance defeated host Eastern Guilford in straight sets for a Mid-State 3-A Conference victory. The Warriors won 25-21, 25-17, 25-20.

Leanne Coe led Western Alamance with eight kills and six blocks. Jamie Sommer added six kills and Heather Morton tallied 12 assists. The Warriors improved to 5-12, 3-10.
