Lady Warriors Volleyball: WA vs RC 8/28/12

The Lady Warriors Volleyball Teams began conference play tonight hosting the Lady Cougars from Rockingham County in a Mid-State 3A double-header.

In the first game of the afternoon, the JV Lady Warriors (1-1 overall, 0-1 Mid-State 3A) kept it very close in both sets but fell to the JV Lady Cougars 0 sets to 2. 

In the second game, the Varsity Lady Warriors proved to be too much for the Varsity Lady Cougars to handle - sweeping the match 3 sets to 0.  Tonight's win improves the Lady Warriors to 1-1 overall and 1-0 in Mid-State 3A play.

The Lady Warriors will travel to Southern Alamance tomorrow for a non-conference rematch with the Lady Patriots.
