Lacrosse: WA Still Only Team In Alamance County

The addition of lacrosse in area high schools doesn’t appear imminent despite the recent sanctioning of the sport by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
Western Alamance athletics director Carter Gerlach, whose school is the only lacrosse-playing school in Alamance County, said he’s not aware of any other schools set on playing varsity lacrosse.
