Track: Laws Shines In State Games

WA's Lydia Laws had a superlative performance at the State Games competition held at Wake Forest University.

 

Laws won the long jump in 17 feet, 8 ¾ inches in the Intermediate girls’ division for ages 15-16.

Also in the Intermediate girls’ division, Laws was second in the 100 hurdles (15.67 seconds) and the 400 hurdles (1:08.22).
