Western struck quickly in the first inning, scoring 5 runs and went on to defeat Rockingham by the score of 14-0 in a game that was shortened to five innings. The win improves WA to 7-1 in conference play, and 8-2 overall. Jessica Griffin collected the win on the mound for the Lady Warriors; striking out 11 of the 16 batters she faced, giving up just 1 hit, and allowing no walks in the shout-out victory. The Lady Warriors produced 13 total team hits; including 1 solo home run and 3 doubles.
