Home » Football NewsKENTUCKY ALL STAR FOOTBALL GAMEDecember 13, 2011 By Dave Spoelker of VYPE MAGAZINE - Greater LouisvilleSome of Kentucky's most talented high school seniors met for one last game at Brother Thomas More Page Stadium on the campus of St. Xavier High School on Sunday, and the Louisville squad under the guidance of Doss head coach Lakunta Farmer came from behind... twice, to defeat the all stars from the rest of Kentucky. St. Xavier QB Alex Mattingly earned offensive MVP for the Louisville team as he threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for a third. (Mattingly finished 10-15-189 yards & 12 carries for 69 yards). South Oldham's Jacob Lamb (playing for the Louisville team) also turned in a stellar performance with 3 TD catches on the day. Lamb was presented the game ball from Coach Farmer. For the Kentucky team, quarterback Scooter Hollis of Bowling Green had 87 yards rushing with 2 TDs and threw for another.
