VYPE Top Ten (Week of 2/11/13)

District playoffs are just around the corner. Teams are making their final adjustments to make the run to the Sweet 16.

BOYS:

  1. Trinity (Impressive 21 point win over Central keeps the Rocks on top)
  2. Ballard (Winning ways continue, now 21-3)
  3. Bullitt East (Good win over Fairdale last week)
  4. John Hardin (At 20-3 now with a win over E-town last week)
  5. Jeffersonville, IN (Big game this week against Trinity at home on 2/15)
  6. Clarksville, IN (Generals are 13-3 and primed for a playoff run)
  7. Central (Loss to #1 Trinity by such a large margin (21pts) dropped them a bit)
  8. Oldham County (Coach Holland’s Colonels are 20-7, winning last 8 in a row)
  9. PRP (Panthers tuning up for strong playoff run)
  10. Providence, IN – Borden, IN – Male (Couldn’t pick just one… so they all are ranked 10th)

 Bubble: St. Xavier (16-8);  South Oldham (17-6); Moore (19-7); Fairdale (16-8)

Game of the week: 2/15  Trinity @ Jeffersonville,IN

GIRLS:

 
    1. Ballard (7th straight week at #1, fighting through injuries)
    2. Manual (Working their way back up to the top)
    3. Bullitt East (20-6, Coach Stallings kids are having fun!)
    4. Sacred Heart (Mercy slowed the surging Valks)
    5. Butler (Couple wins last week gets them back on track)
    6. North Hardin (Lost to Marion County last week... but who hasn't?)
    7. Assumption (Nice win over Male, now at 16-7)
    8. Mercy (Hartlage led the Jags in big win over SHA)
    9. CAL (Slipped against Anderson County, now 16-9)
    10. John Hardin (Lady Bulldogs are 20-7 now!) 
 
Bubble teams: Male (16-8);  Eastern (16-9)

2/12 - Marion County @ Mercy
2/13 - SHA @ Manual
2/15 - SHA @ Bullitt East
