Home » Girls' Basketball NewsGirl's Louisville Invitational Tournament Ends EarlyFebruary 1, 2013 By Dave Spoelker of VYPE MAGAZINE - Greater LouisvilleAfter some very exciting first and second round games the Girl's LIT was scheduled to have some interesting match-ups today and tomorrow at Bellarmine University's Knights Hall. Mother Nature had other plans and unfortunately the balance of games have been cancelled. In early LIT action, Christian Academy had two nice win over Male (57-43) and an upset victory over Ballard on Wednesday (63-54). Sacred Heart avenged a loss to Assumption by topping them (51-44). Mercy and DuPont Manual had also earned spots in the final eight (with respective wins over Eastern and Bullitt East) with hopes of advancing on to Saturday night's final. The ladies will return to their regular season games next week.
