VYPE's TOP TEN (Week of 1-21-13)

With the LIT ending this past weekend we saw several of our top teams face one another. A great preview of district and regional tournament action that is just around the corner!

BOYS: 

1. Trinity (Minus two starters, the Rocks found a way to repeat as LIT Champs)
2. Bullitt East (Went 2-1 in Bass Pro Tourney of Champions over the weekend)
3. Ballard (Blew through LIT competition before first loss to an in state team in finals)
4. Jeffersonville, IN (Just one game last week, good win over Columbus East)
5. Providence, IN (After heartbreaker L to Jeff, the Pioneers have notched 2 wins)
6. John Hardin (Have not seen a loss in 2013)
7. Fairdale (Great LIT run with wins over St. X & Butler, lost to Trinity in OT)
8. Central (Surprised at 61-49 loss to Moore in LIT)
9. PRP (Lost to Trinity in LIT but they were short a key player)
10. Tie: Clarksville (lost a double header to Providence but still a good team)  Moore (LIT wins over CAL and Central break the Stangs into the top 10)

1. Ballard (At 17-2, they are separating themselves from the pack)
2. PRP (All wins in 2013 thus far)
3. Butler (Strong win at Mercy last week)
4. Bullitt East (While other schools are losing they are winning and climbing the ladder)
5. North Hardin (Need a marquee win, but at 16-4 they are not chopped liver)
6. Assumption (Big rivalry win over their friends at Sacred Heart last night 50-48)
7. CAL (Ms. Dow had her game on as CAL knocked off Sacred Heart last week)
8. Male (Perfect in 2013, now 12-5)
9. Elizabethtown (They have not seen an "L" this year either, playing good ball right now)
10. Waggener (At 12-7, Coach Ponder's bunch deserves some love for their hard work)
