VYPE TOP TEN (Week of 12-17-12)

Some great match ups last week with even more to come this week in the King and Queen of the Bluegrass Tournaments!  With SO many outstanding teams in our area it is hard to stop at a top ten... but here we go for this week. BOYS: 

1. Bullitt East (7-0 and in the drivers seat)
2. Central (Unbeaten with some big games just ahead)
3. St. Xavier (Lost first game, now on a terror)
4. Ballard (Playing tough teams and taking a few lumps)
5. Clarksville (The Generals are 5-0 baby!)
6. Trinity (Stumbled against Henry Clay last week)
7. PRP (Back on the winning track)
8. Fairdale (Coach Longacre has all 5 starters scoring in double figures)
9. Providence (Pioneers are unbeaten and have chance to flex muscles soon vs. Jeff)
10. TIE:  Collins & Jeffersonville (Both had recent loses to good teams so no need to panic)

 GIRLS: 

1. Mercy (Coach Evans and company are unbeaten and playing very well)
2. Manual (A tough loss in TN, but nice rebound vs. Assumption)
3. Sacred Heart (Big win over Bruins takes SHA up the ladder)
4. Elizabethtown (First loss of season to Mercy  brings no shame)
5. Ballard (Two point loss to SHA is first setback of the season)
6. PRP (At 6-1, Panthers are making a lot of noise)
7. Assumption (Came up short in battle with Manual – but still a very good team)
8. Valley (Lady Vikings having fun at 6-1)
9. Male (Only loss was to Manual, watch out for the Lady Bulldogs!)
10. CAL (Only losses came at hands of Mercy and PRP)
