Home » General NewsNutcracker on Ice Features Local Competitive SkatersDecember 10, 2012 By Betty Coffman of VYPE MAGAZINE - Greater LouisvilleA proud Louisville tradition continues this weekend as Louisville Skating Academy presents the 9th annual “Nutcracker on Ice”, a figure skating version of the holiday classic. Shows are scheduled for December 15th and 16th at Iceland Sports Complex at 1:30 and 4:30 pm each day. The show includes more than 80 skaters, ages 4 through 85, and features the area’s rising competitive figure skating stars. Advance tickets for general admission are $12.00 ($15.00 at the door). Limited premium seating is available for $25 per ticket. Purchase tickets at www.louisvilleskatingacademy.org.
