VYPE KICKOFF CLASSIC RESULTS

VYPE Magazine was proud to sponsor a pre-season bowling event on November 10th at Dixie Bowl in Louisville, KY. Thirty four teams (boys & girls) gathered for a full day of competition. The Pleasure Ridge Park boys team took the team title with wins over Scott County, Harrison County and Campbell County in the finals. Meanwhile the Lady Panthers were disposing of Sacred Heart, Mercy and in a thrilling five game final, Scott County.

The KHSAA season will now begin with PRP clearly a favorite to be a top contender in both boys and girls.

Individual awards were also claimed as the All Tournament Team was named:

GIRLS:

Meghan Hedgespeth - Taylor County; Tori Doyle - Scott County; Keelyn Cox - PRP; Candice Gibson - Taylor County; and Marissa Thomas - Male.

BOYS:

Anthony Alvey - PRP; Winston Cook - Taylor County; Tyler Widmeyer - Campbell County; Jordan Racke - Campbell County and Josh Staples - Fern Creek.
