Will Wolford Named New Head Coach for St. Xavier

The St. Xavier administration announced this afternoon that Will Wolford will be the head football coach for the Tigers' program beginning with the 2013 season.

Wolford, a 1982 St. Xavier graduate, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University in 1987. He played in the National Football League for 13 years with the Buffalo Bills (7 years), Indianapolis Colts (3 years), and Pittsburgh Steelers (3 years).  Will was a 3-time Pro Bowl participant and played in the Super Bowl three times. He was a member of the Tiger Football staff from 2004-2006 and since 2005 he has served as a radio analyst for the Indianapolis Colts. Wolford is currently a Financial Advisor and Financial Planning Associate with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Dr. Perry Sangalli, the president of Saint Xavier, says, "We are pleased to announce Will as our next head coach. The future of St. X football is in great hands, and we look forward to continuing such a great tradition of excellence."
