Fischer Park in Owensboro, Kentucky, on Saturday June 9, 2012. Mercy advanced through the winners bracket with wins over Bullitt East (16-1); Greenwood (2-1); Lone Oak (7-2); Boyle County (8-0) and then the rematch with Lone Oak for Mercy's first state championship in softball. Mercy finished with a record of (36-8). The Jags were state runner-up in 2003, '09 and '10. Junior Mercy centerfielder Morgan Meyer was named Co-MVP of the tournament. In 20 at bats, she had 14 hits and scored 11 of the teams 40 runs in Mercy's 5 game march to the title. Jaguar freshman Jordan Vorbrink was her Co-MVP.
