Campbell County took first place with a score of 196 points. Union County was second with 176 and Louisville Trinity was third with 153.5. For Trinity, individual top honors went to Bobby Bryant (195lbs); Brent Hitchings (160lbs); and John Fahy (138lbs). In fact it was a 4-peat for John Fahy, a feat only accomplished five other times in KHSAA wrestling history. Louisville's only other wrestler to reach the finals was St. Xavier sophomore Justin Lampe (132lbs) where he finished second to Union County's Jayce Carr. Complete results are available at www.khsaa.org. At the IHSAA Individual Wrestling Championship in Indianapolis, Jeffersonville's Alonzo Shepherd (120) placed 6th and Elijah Curtley (195) was 7th. Also, four Jeffersonville wrestlers were named Academic All-State: David Fridley, Daniel Thompson, Shepherd and Curtley.
