VYPE's March Edition -- Cover/Content Unveiled

Welcome VYPERS,

The March edition of VYPE is hot and with the NCAA Hoop Tournament coming to town, we wanted to show the rest of the country how Hoopston holds it down.

La Marque's Julien Lewis, Westbury Christian's Anthony Collins and Cy-Fair's Cassie Peoples grace this month's cover as the Hoop Stars of 2010-11. Lewis led the Cougars to state after wins over Yates and Galveston Ball, and Collins led his team to their third TAPPS state championship game.

Peoples was named a McDonald's All-American and will star for the University of Texas next year.

While basketball wraps ups, swimming and diving had their state meet in February. VYPE unveils our first-ever Swimsuit Edition (not really), honoring those who brought home gold.

The Mensah twins at Morton Ranch have a very inspirational story as well. The two wrestlers won gold at the state wrestling meet in February after two years of tragedy in their lives.
