The Woodlands Mudslinger hosted several teams from the Houston and Dallas area in February and played a rude host. The Woodlands teams knocked off everyone from the 7th grade levels up to the varsity level. On the day, Ben Lipscomb led all scorers tallying six goals. Gus Pinsoneault, Brian Welling and Anthony Goode added five each. Tyler Murphy and Pinsoneault collected three assists. Jake Williams and Ryan Clay gobbled up 12 and 9 GB's (ground balls) respectively. Williams and Welling won 37 out of 47 face offs as The Woodlands continues to win the all important war on the ground. Defensive stalwart, Kyle Glaesmann carved up the opposition with nine FTO's (forced turnovers) on the day.
Teams from Kingwood, the HISD, Magnolia and Dallas were in the tournament.
