There were 740 teams that participated this year; 1900+ games were played on 53 courts at 11 venues. Those venues were based in the DFW area: Frisco, Plano, Denton, Lake Dallas, Carrollton, Lewisville, Famers Branch, Arlington, Duncanville, and DeSoto. Teams from 5 different states and 2 teams from Chihuahua, Mexico participated.
In addition, The Play Hard Level Well Expo held on Wednesday prior to the tournament had more than 50 vendors and more than 10,000 attendees.
This was the 12th annual PrimeTime Sports National Championship. The first year was in Kansas City, the last 11 have been held in the North Dallas area.
PrimeTime Sports had a busy 2011-2012 tournament season as they managed more than 150 youth sports events and 100 basketball tournaments.
