Banditos Black Bag National Prep School Championship

17U Banditos Baseball dominate National tournament led byBanditos owner, Ray DeLeon, and CY-Young Winner, Roger Clemens in 300-team tournament to win largest National Tournament in amateur baseball. 

 

Twenty (20) local HS baseball players converged on Atlanta, GA for a five-day tournament facing teams from FL, GA, CA, and across the nation, in what is known as one of the toughest and most competitive baseball fields for amateurs. Nearly 300 teams competed, and the 17U Banditos Black brought home the National Title to TX for the first time in over four (4) years.

 

Perfect Game runs the largest and most scouted tournaments in amateur baseball and is the largest and most complete amateur baseball scouting service in the world, hosting more than 100 showcases and tournaments each year. Perfect Game provides players an opportunity to showcase in front nearly all of the 309 NCAA Division I programs along with coaches from Division II, Division III, NAIA and junior colleges. All 30 Major League teams also send scouts to our events.

The Banditos Baseball Clubwas established in 1996 becoming a highly successful, nationally recognized powerhouse program. Bandito teams are select youth baseball teams consisting of players residing in and around the Houston, Texas area. In 2012, all thirty-one (31) seniors in the Banditos organization will pursue baseball professionally or at the college, including future MLB-stars first round draft pick Courtney Hawkins (Chi-White Sox), and Klein Oak Standout 3rd round pick,  Austin Dean (Miami Marlins). Every single player was offered scholarships and/or drafted.
