Arlington Martin’s Eric Amoako and Stephen Amoako have committed to the Ducks. Both twins have been measure at 5-11, 195 pounds and are rated the 38th and 39th best safety prospects by Scout.com. Eric is slotted by most as a safety. Stephen has played more corner. Oregon secondary coach John Neal helped convince the Amoako brothers that his program was their best bet for the chance to start and play on the West Coast. Oregon was not the only school to offer dual scholarship invitations. Both Amoakos received offers from Kansas State, Minnesota, North Texas, Pitt and Purdue. The Amoakos were introduced to Beaverton, Ore. and its surroundings during Arlington Martin’s trip to the Nike 7on7 national tournament last summer. The Ducks continue to recruit the Dallas-Fort Worth area heavily.
