Area trio to receive Under Armour All-American jerseys this week

Three VYPE DFW area high school football players are scheduled to be honored for their selection to the 2013 Under Armor All-American Game by receiving their honorary jerseys at their schools this week.

Birdville offensive lineman Joas Aguilar, Cedar Hill athlete LaQuivonte Gonzalez Cedar Hill's LaQuvionte Gonzalez and Allen punter Shane Tripucka will officially join three other North Texas high school players among seven Texans invited by Under Armour:

Keith Ford, RB, Cypress Ranch

Darius James, C, Harker Heights

Robbie Rhodes, FW Southwest

Ra'Shaad Samples, WR, Skyline

Maurice Smith, CB, Dulles

Kohl Stewart, QB, Houston St. Paul X

Dontre Wilson, RB, DeSoto

This year's Under Armour All-American Game will be at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Jan. 4 at 4 p.m. and televised nationally on ESPN.
