Robert Berry named medical director of sports medicine at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano is proud to announce Robert Berry, D.O., orthopaedic surgeon, as medical director of sports medicine. He graduated with his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA and went on to perform an internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA. Dr. Berry served as an orthopaedic surgery resident at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Riverside, CA and received specialized training in sports medicine as a sports medicine fellow at Oasis in San Diego, CA.
 
Dr. Berry is board certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Osteopathic Association and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.
 
Dr. Berry also has several years of experience providing sports medicine care to professional athletes and teams, including serving as the NFL team physician for the San Diego Chargers, San Diego Riptide, and the Red Bull X-Fighters Extreme Team in Fort Worth.
