McKinney Boyd HS Band Performs at Cowboys - Giants Game

Sunday, December 11, 2011 will be quite memorable for 250 high school band members.

The McKinney Boyd Bronco Band will performing a slightly abbreviated version of their 2011 contest show entitled "Dreams" featuring the music of Beethoven and Mötley Crüe, during a halftime performance at Cowboy's Staudim for the Cowboys vs. New York Giants game.

Here's a few recent Bronco Band accomplishments:

- 2011 Alamo Showcase of Music Most Outstanding Band Award

- 2009 Plano East Invitational Grand Champions

- UIL Sweepstakes Award in Marching every year of existence

- UIL Area Marching Contest Every Year Eligible (Contest is held in alternating years.)

- 2009 Performance by Invitation at the Texas State Capitol

- 2011 Finalist Duncanville Marching Competition
