Texas commit DL A'Shawn Robinson flips to Alabama

Fort Worth Arlington Heights defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson confirmed rumors that he was decommiting from Texas by switching to Alabama over the weekend, according to Orangebloods.com and other reports.

Robinson (6-5, 300), a consensus 5-star recruit and member of VYPE DFW's Top 100 2013 Football Recruits and a first-team Greater Fort Worth All-VYPE selection, had long been rumored to be wavering on his Texas commitment. Robinson visited Alabama two weeks ago, and coach Nick Saban visited the Arlington Heights campus last week.

Robinson also took official visits to Florida State and USC.
