Top MLB draft prospect Dylan Bundy has DFW ties

Local DBAT select team phenom Dylan Bundy is projected to be taken high in tonight’s Major League Baseball Draft.

Bundy, who most recently played high school baseball in Owasso, Okla. and Sperry, Okla., could earn a contract worth $15 million. He traveled with DBAT during the summer select season.

He struck out 158 batters in 71 innings, while allowing just two earned runs and five walks this season. He threw a no-hitter and six one-hitters while being clocked at 100 mph at times. He was named Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year for the third consecutive season.

His brother, Bobby, is a righthander in the Orioles’ system.
