Richardson Pearce athlete Corey Coleman committed to Baylor Wednesday.

Coleman, No. 14, on VYPE DFW’s list of 2012 area football recruits, chose the Bears over offers from California, Colorado, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

Baylor recruited Coleman as a receiver. Coleman’s speed (4.3) and versatility made him one of the area’s most coveted athlete recruits. The Bears have also received a commitment from speedy Hebron receiver Kiante Griffin.

Coleman told SicEmSports that he always considered Baylor to be at the top of his offer list. He will attend a Baylor camp this summer.
