Area players named to All-American teams

Six Dallas-Fort Worth area boys basketball players were named All-Americans by MaxPreps.com. They were grouped among junior, sophomore and freshman teams.

Flower Mound Marcus' Marcus Smart, All-VYPE MVP, was selected second-team among juniors. Arlington Grace Prep junior Isaiah Austin made the third team and Flower Mound Marcus' Phil Forte was picked for the fourth team.

Prestonwood Christian's Julius Randle was voted to the first-team among sophomores. Irving's Keith Frazier was selected to the third team.

All-VYPE Newcover of the Year Emmanuel Mudlay of Grace Prep was picked to second team among freshmen.
