Irving DE Horace Arkadie commits to Arkansas

Irving defensive end Horace Arkadie has committed to Arkansas according to The Dallas Morning News.

Irving head coach Jim Bennett said Arkadie (6-4, 230) chose the Razorbacks over offers from Virginia and Purdue.

Arkadie had 77 tackles playing weakside defensive end for a 1-9 Irving team.

Arkadie joins Mansfield Legacy cornerback Tevin Mitchel and L.D. Bell tight end Chris Barnett as area recruits who have committed to Arkansas.
